Yamaha Motor Australia Takes Control

Singapore, 2 April 2004 - Equator One Pte Ltd (E1), an emerging leader in infrastructure management solutions, announced that Yamaha Motor Australia (YMA) has selected E1's MAX™ Infrastructure Management Suite to keep track of and manage its networks.

YMA has recently deployed MAXEnterprise to allow them to intelligently manage and monitor the performance of their networks, as the company relies heavily on business-critical applications to serve its customers even after normal office hours, and requires a monitoring tool to keep track of systems around-the-clock--thus alerting the support staff at the earliest time possible if any problem occurs.

Mr. Stephen Suen, MIS Manager of Yamaha Motor Australia, explains that when YMA evaluated a number of network management tools the basic requirement was that it should be able to monitor any failed component on the network. "More importantly, the monitoring tool must also be able to issue warnings when thresholds are exceeded so that preventive action can be taken before any failure actually takes place," he adds. Mr. Suen concluded that MAX is an easy-to-use, cost-effective and versatile all-in-one solution package.
