The concept of centralized and localized management in an infrastructure management system can be characterized by a Master Console and remote consoles relationship. This means that while the Master Console allows the system administrator to see a bird's-eye view of the infrastructure resources and drill down to specifics of remote network devices, the local network administrators have the ability to monitor and manage only their own resources.
