Technical Support

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level Technical support to users which are predominantly networking in nature
  • Provide Pre-Sales support to potential customers and resellers
  • Respond to customer RFP
  • Resolve customer care issues and handle customer enquiries
  • Liaise with customers verbally, in person, through writing and email on their feedback.
  • Entails the enhancement of user requirements, handling of customers feedback
  • To work closely and effectively with users and sales staffs
  • Troubleshoot and perform software up-grading of Equator One products to ensure the Quality of Service
  • Linking of computers to networks, allowing communication between different protocol systems
  • To conduct in-house/clients' networking and Equator One products training for sales and service staffs
  • Direct the customer feedback to the relevant departments and/or work with the department(s)concerned to resolve the issues
  • Compile the weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on defects and enhancements request.
  • Maintain the customer contact database in via the Intranet
  • Management of the Customer Services webpage

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • Effectively conversant in both written and spoken English and Mandarin with good interpersonal skills
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Ability to troubleshoot PC and with knowledge in networking
  • Preferably junior executives specializing in IT/Computer Customer Service or equivalent
  • Preferred to have Networking (TCP/IP, SNMP, FR, ATM, ADSL, router, Switch) knowledge
  • Customer and team oriented
  • Dynamic, innovative and independent


Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Define Requirement with internal and external customers
  • Create Functional Specification, High Level Design, Detailed Design, and Unit test cases document
  • Conduct review on the above mentioned document
  • Design and Implement solution (Require programming and System integration skill)
  • Troubleshooting and resolve problems report by Technical Support
  • Perform System Testing on co-workers modules

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • Object Oriented Programming Skill is a must
  • Prefer Python and C++, HTML, and ASP programming Knowledge
  • Advance Knowledge in SNMP (including ASN.1, and MIB programming) and RMON2
  • Knowing Kernel level of Window NT4, Window 2000, UNIX, Linux
  • Knowledge of SSL, TCP, IP, UDP protocol
  • Knowledge of Network Programming
  • Knowledge of SQL programming
  • Knowledge of Application (Lotus Notes, MS Exchange, IIS, SQL Server, Oracle, SyBase)
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
